I’m Dr Megan Oka, LLC, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with offices in Cache Valley, Davis County and Utah Valley. I provide quality services for individuals, couples, and families in need.
Since 2005, I have specialized in work with children. I believe in the strength and resilience of children and parents to deal with the difficulties of life. A Bit About Therapy
All our therapists have extensive training in therapy for children, adults, couples, and families. We believe in the power of individuals in therapy to make great changes in their lives. However, it is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the entire family system. In the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
Services We Offer
Child therapy
We believe that for children, the best therapy engages them in a variety of ways: talk, play, creation, relaxation and awareness. We provide a safe space for children to communicate as well as a sounding board for parents.
Couples Counseling
Your relationship with your partner is among the most important of your life. However, it does not always come easy. We help couples examine their daily processes and beliefs about relationships and how those interact and influence their communication and behavior.
Family therapy
We love to involve the entire family in the process of therapy. I believe therapy is a place where families can work through their problems while participating in fun activities that build relationships and ultimately lead to a richer life experience.
Individual Therapy
In our therapy sessions, we’ll work with you to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. We will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. We're confident you’ll leave with new skills and resources to help you flourish.
